MR. JAMES DAVOU DALYOP – Permanent Secretary

MR. Dalyop, J D is a Civil servant. He holds a B.Sc. degree in Economics from the University of Jos in 1983. He started his career as a teacher in Government Secondary School Rukuba in 1985 in Jos, after his mandatory NYSC programme which he did in former Gongola State. He was later posted to GSS Bassa, GSS Buji, and then GSS Zagun where he served as Vice Principal in 1996. He was again posted to GSS Tudun Wada as VP where his service was transferred to ministry of Finance & Economic Planning, as Chief Budget Officer in 1999. By 2003, he rose to the position of Deputy Director Budget and eventually became the Director of Budget in 2007; the position he held before his current appointment in 2010. Mr. Dalyop is a patron of All Stars Football Club (Kabong Branch) jos and a sport enthusiast. He is married with four children. He is currently the Permanent Secretary Ministry of Lands, Survey & Town Planning, Plateau state. .
