MR. VONJEN TIMKU LAR – Secretary (Administration and Finance)

Mr. Timku joined the serves of the Plateau State civil services from 1978 as a Teacher after his NYSC in 1978.

Mr. Timku who bared a master in education in curriculum/English from University of Jos in 1988, had worked in so many capacity as a Teacher, Vice Principal, Inspector of English, and later Chairman of Mangu Local Government Council between 1990 – 1991. He became Director of personnel Manager spanning from 1991/1992 in different Local Government Councils. Before being deployed to the Ministry of Lands, Survey and Town Planning, Jos, he was the Secretary of the Christian Pilgrims Welfare Board from 2003 – 2007.

Mr. Timku has worked in several adhoc duties in the Sate, among which are the co-ordinate, National Festival of Instructional materials (NFIM), Pankshin Zone from 1989 – 1990. And member, Committee on privatization of Government Companies and Parastatals in Plateau State in 2000.
